A breath of fresh air in 2020: PureBlue welcomes 7 new colleagues
The new year has had a flying start for PureBlue Water with the arrival of no less than seven brand new colleagues. The male talent provides reinforcement within various teams. With two new sales colleagues, a work planner, a technical draftsman and a new electrical-, mechanical- and service engineer on the team, PureBlue Water is gearing up for the future. Expansion of the workforce offers new possibilities and opens new doors to keep up with the fast-growing demand.
The new colleagues are still young, but very enthusiastic to contribute to the growth of PureBlue Water. Thijmen Cornelissens will be responsible for the technical drawings and designs within PureBlue Water. As a work planner, newly employed Kevin de Nijs will be responsible for planning and stock acquisition. Sjaak Verhelst brings new energy to the Service team. In addition, Sam de Bliek will continue his career at PureBlue Water as Mechanical engineer. The Sales team has even invested in two new account managers: Sven Wittiber and Jesse de Waal. Sven will be mainly active within the maritime sector, whereas Jesse will be focusing primarily on sales within industry and agriculture.
And these gentlemen have come at just the right time: with the high demand for highly qualified staff in our tight labor market, it remains a challenge to find suitable candidates. Therefore, the arrival of these skilled new team members makes their colleagues at PureBlue Water all the happier.
Salespersons Sven Wittiber and Jesse de Waal introduce themselves
As account managers, Sven Wittiber and Jesse de Waal are responsible for sales. In an interview on location in Kapellebrug, Jesse and Sven provide us behind-the-scenes glimpses of their roles at PureBlue Water. After a brief introduction, they told us more about their responsibilities and how they ended up at PureBlue Water.
Sven came across the sales vacancy via one of the online channels of PureBlue Water. Both the vacancy itself and the description of the company appealed to him straight away. Not long ago, Sven moved from Frankfurt, Germany to The Netherlands after finishing his degree in Engineering. In the interview, he indicates that he is very excited to get started at PureBlue Water. “I started studying Dutch two years ago and half a year ago I found out about PureBlue Water, which was close to where I wanted to live. So I applied and got accepted for the job,” says Sven. Sven has already gained some work experience in the water sector at various companies. “In the beverage industry, actually, but I am familiar with the market.”
His colleague Jesse successfully finished business studies at Hogeschool Zeeland in Vlissingen. He then completed an internship and gained experience in Sales. With pleasure, Jesse adds: “I was looking for a new challenge in Sales. When this position became available I instantly got excited. That's how it all started.”
